You know what chaps my ass? Racism. Now I was raised in the south and taught to be just as racist and homophobic as the next guy, but some how it still bothers me when I see blatant racism. As some of you know I was dragged to the abomination that is a Madea’s witness protection a few days ago. This movie hit every black stereotype out there, and I’m pretty sure it made up a few more. And what really bugs me is that its ok, as insulting as this movie was to African Americans nobody seems to care. Hell black people embrace the movie and enjoy it. There’s only one reason people are ok with this movie and not calling for the writer/director/producer’s head on a spike, he’s black. So we are all to understand its ok for a black man to make racist jokes and propel insulting stereotypes. If a white man had written this same movie there would be outcries in the street for him to be run out of Hollywood. That’s just plain racist, a black man can do it and its ok but a white man wouldn’t be able to get away with it. And some of the story/plot points were insulting to white people, again if a white man wrote a movie and made the same joke about black people it would never be allowed to be seen. I’m goin to write a movie where a black family has to move in with a white family and the majority of the humor will come from the white family making fun of the black people for being different, lets see how many studios line up to make that movie. It’s not just this movie most “black comedies” thrive on stereotypes and jokes that if made by anyone else would be insulting. So Hollywood has taught us if you are black its perfectly fine and even entertaining to a bigot.
Lol at black people embracing Madea movies.
Lol at complaining about how white people not being able to make movies like Madea.
